The game contains 10 extraordinary adventures.

Typically played by 2 or more players or teams, a solitaire version is described. Most adventures begin in the Study at 221b Baker Street. Holmes and Watson are presented with an intriguing new case to solve. Clues and suspects are found in various London locations. You are invited to join them and test your skills. Analyse visual and verbal clues on the tape and studying written clues on the location cards.

The winner is the first player to solve the case.

The game differs from the standard games as there is no playing board. At the beginning of the tape, Dr. Watson welcomes you to 221b Baker Street and explains the basic play of the game.
