Each player is a gardener with a greenhouse. By moving around the board, working through the seasons, players pick up seeds and bulbs and bring them to bloom. Naturally enough, pests and bad weather play their part too. The first player to bring their garden into bloom with every space in the garden filled with plants, wins the game. Some of these plants bloom from seeds, bulbs or corms; others can be planted fully grown.

This is a beautiful yet simple game and is now rare. It needs more luck than green fingers to win but is a very entertaining way for young children to learn a little about plants and flowers. It is similar to a game produced in the 1930s called Plantit. View a list of challenging games by Intellect Games from the 1970s.
