Construct the pyramid and set out the hazards before playing this 3D game. Explorers start in the outer chamber and can only enter the pyramid by landing on either entrance square.
The first hazard is the great stone of Cheops in the Queen's chamber.
Players raise or lower the stone by throws of the dice.
The second hazard involves narrow stone steps. Each block in the steps represents one move and there is only room for one player at a time. If you don’t exit before another player arrives, you are knocked into the pit and can try again on your next go.
Travel round the spiral maze to reach the safety of a narrow ledge.
The third hazard is a pit of snakes. Each block on the bridge over the pit of snakes represents one move. Land on either half of the trapdoor and drop to your doom. Miss 3 turns (or less if you throw a 6).
The fourth hazard is the wheel of Anubis. When you land in front of either Mummy, the wheel is spun. The Mummy is swivelled to one side to reveal either a solid wall or a secret opening leading to the sarcophagus.
Open the sarcophagus lid closest to you to reveal the Pharaohs mask to win the game. Reveal a curse and you must spin the sarcophagus and return to the Queen’s chamber. Thereafter follow shortcuts; a blue passage with your 1st curse, red passage with your 2nd curse and green passage with your 3rd curse. Fail to find the treasure on this 4th attempt and you are doomed and out of the game.

An extremely well designed game. With moving parts and colourful game board, the game comes to life. Feel like Indiana Jones! No wonder this is a rare and highly sought after game.
