Players are licensed taxicab drivers on the roads of central London. Each player starts with money but must pay a licence fee. Move around the board to find passengers, take them to their destinations and be paid the fare and a tip. During the journey the player may receive penalties or rights to rewards or bonuses. With enough money, a player may licence a second taxi, identified by number 1 or 2 on the side. The game may be played with 5 or 6 players but without second taxis.
The winner is the first player to earn a pre-determined amount of money.

* A personal view; the playing pieces and signs could have been better presented.
** some examples have no £10 notes and more £5 and £1 notes (25 of each).
