Players are Fleet Street reporters. Fill a blank page of your newspaper with stories and advertisements worth as much as possible. The total value of a full page can vary considerably according to the individual totals marked on the back of each story card placed on the newspaper blank. The winner is the player who composes a page of the highest value plus cheques held at the close of the game and other bonuses obtained.

There is no separate game board. Players have their own newspaper blank sheet to work from.

* The news desk telephone is an integral part of the game, which randomly selects how stories are managed; cleared for press, scrapped or front page treatment. Wild cards provide added bonuses.
