The game is based on the annual race of large square rigged sailing ships from Australia to London with cargoes of grain.
There are 2 stages; loading the ships and  sailing the ships.
The first player to return with cargo to the Port of London wins.

There is great attention to detail in the design and quality of this game, particularly of the colour game board sail and distance indicators, playing pieces and cards.
A beautiful and rare game to find.
