Earn fame and fortune. Explore the sunken Titanic, raise it and recover the ship’s log. Organise crews, supplies and equipment and encounter many opportunities to salvage artefacts and add to your wealth but also meet danger. The richest player once the ship’s log is returned to home port, wins.

The game is played in 2 parts with 2 sets of rules.
Part 1. Prepare for the expedition. Players follow the instructions on the game board and cards to gather an expedition, collect money, fame and artefacts and raise the ship by removing metal artefacts. If any players feel they have not earned enough during this period, they may be able to keep the game going by returning artefacts to the ship, thus hindering any efforts to raise the ship.
Part 2. Race to home port to finish. Compete to possess the ship’s log. The game ends when a player returns to the home port with the ship’s log and earns $100,000 bonus.

A stunning game to see setup. Absorbing game play is enhanced by the quality and design of the playing pieces and use of the mechanism to slowly raise the Titanic above the game board.

At the beginning of the game, artefacts are loaded onto the Titanic and their weight compresses a spring-loaded column and rests the Titanic on the game board. As artefacts are removed, the ship moves upwards.

Some stores withdrew the game from sale following objections from people affected by the disaster.
