The classic horse racing card game.

Each player starts with 40 points worth of betting chips. Play may continue for an agreed time or until one player loses all chips. The winner has the most chips.
4 racehorse cards, each related to one form card, are placed face up in the middle of the table and stay there permanently. 52 form cards are dealt plus one spare hand. Similar to standard playing cards but jockey colours replace suits for cards numbered 1 to 13. Without looking at their own cards, players place a 5 point bet on one of the horses.
Lay down cards starting with the lowest number held of one suit and then players take turns to lay down cards of the same suit in sequence and announce the colour and number. When a form card matches one of the racehorse cards, the player takes all the betting chips placed on it. Losers must give one chip to the winner for each form card still held.
Chips on the other racehorse cards remain for the next round.
