| Trade Mark 711981. The playing pieces are flat and made of metal. All the money is printed in black ink on colour paper (in other editions red ink is used for the £500 notes). This edition uses the characteristic small inner box. There is a large white sticker on the box and game board showing the Monopoly logo printed in black and red with Property Trading Board Game printed black in block capitals. The Monopoly logo shows 2 trains approaching but heading in opposite directions. There are 2 houses between them, almost forming a mirror image and a smiling young Mr. Monopoly wearing morning suit and clutching a wad of £ notes. |
