Visit 6 places of interest in Britain and be the first to return to London. You travel by rail and ferry on the same routes as you would in the early 1980s.

The game may be played either on the railway network of the 1980s or on the railways of the glorious age of the steam locomotive by using either side of the board.

The souvenir cards are beautifully illustrated with black and white sketches and milestones in railway history.

The rules book has additional pages for details on railway history, a map of the British Rail principal passenger network before Rail Track and privatisation, facts and figures on Britain 's railways, railway preservation, the railway in 1980 and The Rail Riders club.

Similar to The London game which is based on a map of the London Underground.
