Visit 6 places of interest in Britain and be the first to reach London . You travel by rail and ferry on the same routes as you would in the early 1970s. Players are dealt 6 cards to determine where to visit.

The souvenir cards are beautifully illustrated with black and white sketches and descriptions of places of interest.

The rules book has pages on railway history, a map of the principal rail, Sealink and Seaspeed hovercraft routes as of 1st January 1973 , facts and figures on Britain 's railways and how the railways work.

"Keen railway travellers will notice that the railway network on the board of the game is not a complete replica of the British rail network. Whatever is on the board does correspond roughly with what exists in real life but of course, there are many lines which are very useful to the travelling public but not relevant to the playing of the game."

Similar to The London game which is based on a map of the London Underground.
