Escape from Colditz Castle , the multi national, maximum security prison during the second World War. Reading through the supplementary supplied in the booklet should help understand the atmosphere of Colditz Castle during the war. To play the game successfully requires ingenuity and patience as well as experience. Some knowledge of the cards is an advantage. Up to 5 players (escape officers) compete to achieve the first successful escape from Colditz Castle of one or more members of their respective POW escape teams. One of the players elects to become the German security officer who will deploy his security forces to try to prevent escapes.

This great collector’s item is truly remarkable, bringing to life the true story and events surrounding the daring escape from the castle. This is a later version of the game originally produced by Parker in the 1960s. Game play is the same but the packaging and presentation has changed. The picture gallery shows example that has been signed by the author on the inside of the box lid.
