1 x instructions booklet with a brief biography of Charles Dickens and explanation how the game relates to his life and that time.
Write a Dickens novel with 6 episodes. Players choose a novel from the 4 available on each side of the board. Complete an episode by collecting a character card and a matching card with a quotation for that character. Return to your desk to receive a royalty payment.
There are opportunities to buy and sell at an Inn or Counting house. Stage coaches speed you on your way and a debtor’s prison if you become bankrupt.
