The game board is illustrated with  Edwardian examples of words and phrases for each letter of the alphabet.

The first player or team to move around the board from A to Z, wins. Roll the dice to move. Players move further by correctly answering questions based on a passage from a book. Up to 4 questions are on the reverse of the card, each worth 1 space forwards.

Inspired by the Opie collection of children’s literature in Oxford’s Bodleian Library.

A delightful game, fun and challenging for all the family.
