#2
Seat 2 players per table for 2 to 6 players. For larger parties, each table seats 4 players who share a dice. Players sat opposite are partners.

Throw the highest number to choose who starts. All tables start at the same time. Throw a 6 to start (body) and then 5 (head), both partners may draw these. Thereafter (ex)partners play individually and body parts may be drawn in any order. The first player to draw a complete beetle shouts “beetle”.  All players stop and score points according to the number of parts drawn.

The 2 highest scoring players from each table move to the next table; one up a table and one down. After 12 rounds, the player with the highest score, wins.

The faster the dice is thrown, the more likely you can finish first amid riotous excitement and laughter. Any small pot or egg cup can be used as a dice box. A whistle is useful as a starting signal.
