This is a war strategy game based on the battle during the Crimean War featuring The charge of the Light Brigade. Although troop positions and attacks are based on the actual battle, there is slight deviation in troop placing and tactics to make the game playable.

The game is beautifully illustrated on the box lid and in the enclosed leaflet which includes descriptions and colour drawings of the actual battle as well as the rules for playing the game. War games are popular and usually complex but this game is rather simple in comparison.
