The great aerial tactics game of attack and defence. Played on a special board representing the Air, with 84 pieces of various values; aeroplanes, anti-aircraft guns, searchlights and observation balloons. A portion of each side of the board is marked off as an aerodrome. The object of the game is to land troops on your opponent's aerodrome by occupying it with one of your troop carriers. The first player to do this, wins. The teams are identified by colour backs to each piece.

One of a series produced by HP Gibson, with similar game play. Aviation represents the air force, Dover Patrol (navy), L'Attaque (army) and Tri-Tactics (all 3 services). View a list of Armed Forces strategy games by HP Gibson. The game was relaunched and retitled Battle of Britain in the 1970s, with specific game play and playing pieces representing the air force and auxiliary support functions available at that time.
