Atmosfear IV is an add-on game which can only be played using a Master game.

The game is controlled using a VHS video tape and is a race against time and Countess Elizabeth Bathory the vampire. One player answers the vampire, rolls the dice and moves a playing piece, while the other players guard their gravestones, toss a coin and activate the time, fate and chance cards.

Once started you cannot pause or rewind the tape. The vampire considers it cheating and wins the game by default.
Collect your character's keys and then race to the centre of the board, the nightmare square. You must land on the nightmare square by an exact roll. On further turns, you must roll a 6, to take the top nightmare card. If it is not your greatest fear, race to the video player and press stop to win. If the tape reaches 60 minutes, the vampire wins. For a theme night, players could dress for the part!

Atmosfear was created to build a library of sequel tapes, each hosted by a different character, designed to be played with the Master Game. From the original game; the gatekeeper, Hellin the poltergeist, Countess Elizabeth Bathory (your host the vampire), Anne de Chantraine the witch, Khufu the mummy, Baron Samedi the zombie and Gevaudan the werewolf. Sold as Nightmare in the US.
