A war strategy game based on the Italian campaign, one of the most controversial of WW2. You are a Theatre Commander who must try to break the stalemate on the Italian peninsula. Command all the original divisions, brigades and batallions.

Perhaps as General Kesselring you can hold the Allies at bay? Or as General Montgomery you can break through the German defences. Should Rommel have released the powerful garrison in North Italy to push the Allies back into the sea? Did Mark Clark blunder into repeatedly attacking what military texts call the strongest defensive position in Europe? Explore the alternatives.
The battle for Italy decided the timetable for the D Day invasion. Anzio is a small port 35 miles south of Rome. To the Allies, it was the site of a bold stroke to break the back of the impregnable Cassino Line defences. To the Germans it became the largest self sustaining prison camp in Europe. It became the symbol of the most bitter fighting of the Italian Campaign.
